WE'RE OFFERING A SERIES OF REGION-SPECIFIC WEBINARS on the treatment of opioid use disorders (OUD) to add to the educational content covered in the online program. Each webinar will provide a case-based review and application of the online content.
The webinars will include:
Faculty from each region will present local data on opioid overdoses and OUD and will highlight region-specific OUD resources available to clinicians and patients.
The Massachusetts Department of Health and Human Services has defined the following regions: Western, Central, MetroWest, Boston, Northeast and Southeast
Physicians, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, PAs, and their healthcare teams

Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1.50 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 1.75 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. Approval is valid until December, 2026. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 1.50 MOC points and patient safety MOC credit in the American Board of Internal Medicine's (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit. Aggregate and de-identified data is shared with the commercial supporters.
